Description

This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air Systems Command to issue a modification to contract N00019-03-C-6518 with Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI) for the supplies and services necessary to convert approximately 100 Tactical Air Launched Decoys (TALDs) to Improved Tactical Air Launched Decoys (ITALDs) with the Global Positioning System (GPS) enhancements. IMI is the sole manufacturer of ITALDs, and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform these efforts. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
