Description

DESCRIPTION 58?Fusion Goggle Systems ? The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), 7701 Tampa Point Blvd, MacDill AFB, FL 33621-5323 has a requirement for non-recurring engineering, Low Rate Initial Production of 30 units, option(s) for production and logistics support for a maximum quantity of 600 ea Fusion Goggle Systems. This is a follow-on effort of Contract Number USZA22-01-C-0005, which was for the development of the Fusions Goggle prototypes. The Government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Insight Technology Incorporated pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This decision is based on the initial development contract that was solicited using full and open competition procedures and award of up to 2 development contracts followed by down select for production based on the development systems(s) providing the overall best value to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by USSOCOM. No telephone requests will be honored. The NAICS code is 33314, 500 employees and FSC code is 5855. Electronic procedures will be used for this procurement.
