SUPPLY CLASSCOD: 59?ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS. OFFADD: 39th CONS, INCIRLIK AB TURKEY SUBJECT: TRANSFORMERS AND CABLE COMBINE SYSNOPSIS/SOLICITATION DUE: 24 Jan 2003 POC: SSgt Bruce Markman DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supply prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a paper copy of the solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F61358-03-M-U017 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). ATTENTION POTENTIAL OFFERORS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD OF THIS SOLICITATION DUE TO ESTABLISHED ECONOMIC AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY, THE AIR FORCE INTENDS TO AWARD THIS SOLICITATION TO A BUSINESS CONCERN WITHIN THE COUNTRY OF TURKEY. THEREFORE, PROPOSALS FROM BUSINESS CONCERNS OUTSIDE OF TURKEY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The following supplies are required: 1-Mobil-type transformer substation. (7 EA) It will consist of the following: a) 250 kVA self cooled dry type transformer with force cooling fan. Primary Voltage: 4160 V, Secondary Voltage: 400/231V, Vector Group Dyn5, Frequency 50 hz Manufacturer: Alstom or ABB. b) Three-way Switch (Ring Main Unit), 12 kV for 250 kVA transformer CVC stile/w plugs for 1x70 sqmm 2XSY and 1x35 2XSY cable. Manufacturer ABB or equal. c) Low voltage switchgear IAW attached single line diagram. (1 ea 500 A 3 pole Main CB and 12 ea 50 A 3 pole Branch CB c/w necessary connection terminals, bus bar, grounding connection) Manufacturer: ABB, Klockner Moeller or Equal. d) Insulated metal container for exterior operation, (Galvanized and baked painted) Manufacturer ELTA Electric, ABB or equal e) The transformer substation shall meet or exceed latest NEC (USA) requirements. 2-4x16-sqmm NYY 1 kV cable. (12,000 m) Manufacturer: Nexans, Siemens or equal. 3-1x70 sqmm 2XSY 5/8/10 kV cable (7800 m) Manufacturer: Nexans, Siemens or equal. Supplies are required within 30 days after receipt of order. Please provide your delivery date on your offer. Quotes must be submitted in Lira and Dollars. Contractor must be able to accept the Government Purchase Card as Method of Payment. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items, shall apply along with Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR). FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, shall apply. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, shall be incorporated into any contract resulting from this notice.
