- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy has declared 100,000 liters of helium 3-gas to be surplus. The Department wishes to sell the helium to the highest Offeror in a competitive bid process. A second synopsis will be posted two weeks from the date of this notice with detailed information pertaining to the release of the solicitation. The Department of Energy plans to issue sales contracts with those offerors meeting all requirements in the sales protocol, which will be included in the solicitation. All bidders/offerors will be required to be submitted through DOE's Industry Interactive Procurement System (IIPS). The IIPS Users Guide can be obtained by going to the IIPS Secured Services site at http://doe-iips.pr.doe.gov/ and download the file named IIPShelp.rtf.
