- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to negotiate a sole source purchase Purchase Order with FOTON Engineering to provide training services for the Meshless Methods Analysis program. The training course has been designed to cover the impact dynamics through using meshless methods and structural design optimization meshless techniques. The meshless training course is specifically designed for highway related research projects. The unique expertise and computer codes that have been developed for the training are essential elements for developing and offering the course; which will transfer knowledge of the research to the highway research center. The training material has been developed and researched by the FOTON Engineering Corporation in addition to being packaged and manufactured by the company. Because FOTON Engineering has developed the training materials, and developed the training course for the meshless methods techniques they are considered the only known source that can provide the services required. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is February 7, 2003.
