- NA THIS IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. DO NOT REGISTER FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AT THIS TIME. THERE IS A ?DRAFT? SOLICITATION AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW ON OUR WEBSITE (see instructions below). The Government may consider comments and inquiries while prep aring the final plans and specs; however, the Government is not seeking comments and may not provide responses to inquiries. A solicitation will be issued on or about 26 March 2003 with proposals due on or about 27 May 2003. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The proj ect will involve construction of a three-bay Obermeyer Hydro, Inc. gated spillway with needle dams and service bridge, intake and discharge basins and control house with a Liquid Propane Gas (LPG)-driven generator for backup power. Site work includes pav ing, fencing, graded and sodded areas, bypass canal, access roadways and disposal area. Electrical work includes services for the gates and communication equipment. Estimated construction performance period is 400 calendar days. Magnitude of Constructio n is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Proposals will be evaluated on technical, past performance and price. THIS ACQUISITION IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, wh ich will be considered. There will be a price preference for identified HUBZone small business concerns that comply with the requirements of the solicitation as stipulated in FAR 19.1307.
