- Description
- The United States Government announces its interest in procuring the services of a developer for the development of a records storage facility to be leased by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for its own use. The development must be of sufficient size to accommodate the following requirements: - A single-story building, with a floor plate of approximately 350,000 BOMA useable square feet - A required 100-foot setback from the boundaries of the site - A minimum building height of 20 feet for all records storage bays - The building and site must meet all applicable local, county, and state building and fire safety codes The site for this development must be located within: - A radius of 30 miles of the existing NARA Regional Records facility located at 1557 St. Joseph Avenue, East Point, Georgia - An industrial development setting that would provide modern design with quality appearance The Solicitation for Offers (project: NAMA-03-SEM-0013) will be offered on or about January 24, 2003, and will be due on or about February 27, 2003. The Solicitations for Offer will be sent out to all parties that respond to this announcement. The SFO will be available as a Word document at www.fedbizopps.gov and/or http://nara.ey.com. The building is scheduled be delivered by the summer of July 2004, when phased occupancy begins. Do not contact the local or national personnel of NARA directly about this solicitation.
