- s (DoDEA) Education Division intends to award on a sole source basis, a contract to DARE America, P. O. Box 512090, Los Angeles, California, 90051-0090, a educational/nonprofit institution for certified DARE instructor to train DoDEA educators and military personnel to deliver the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program in elementary and middle schools in accordance with the attached solicitation. No other service will meet the government's requirement. Certified DARE offerors who believe that they can meet this requirement are invited to submit a proposal with information demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Solicitation Number is MDA410-02-R-0019 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This action will be processed using simplified acquisition procedures and incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a federal government agency, tax exempt, an education activity and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. FSC Code: U099, Other Education & Training Services. NAICS Code: 611710-Educational Support Services, Size Standard: $5.0M. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Reponses received within (2) calendar days after publication of this notice will be considered in determining whether or not to place the order on a sole source basis.
