Description

In accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, the National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Lawn Maintenance Service. The contractor shall furnish all equipment and sufficient personnel for turf mowing, line trimming, edging and debris removal for Fort Pulaski National Monument, Savannah, GA. The approximate area is designated as the Demilune Mounds and Fort Terreplein. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to verify total mowing area. This is a Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 56173. Tentative issue date: February 14, 2003. The Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website is http://ideasec.nbc.gov/. ALL interested parties desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the website. RFP documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF formats. The contract will be for one year, with option to extend the term of the contract for an additional four years, in one-year increments. Anticipated award date is March 27, 2003.
