This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F09650-03-Q-0027 is a Request for Quote. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular through the issue date of the solicitation. This solicitation is sole sourced to Microtech Systems, 2 Davis Drive, Belmont, CA. NAICS Code 334119. Place of Performance/FOB: Robins AFB, GA. Period of Performance: 4 February 2003 ? 3 February 2004. Request non-personal service for a one-year on-site service agreement for the DVD System Engine 1684 in support of the Immediate Depot Replacement Program: original robotics and drive modules 1A 200 Serial Number 911. Included is an Immediate Replacement Warranty. 2. Service to cover 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, Monday through Friday, 0800 to 1700, with a 4 hour response time for on-site service. Immediate Replacement Warranty service will include unlimited telephone support as necessary to aid in the diagnosis of equipment problems. Upon diagnosis of equipment related failure, Microtech will ship via next day priority freight, the replacement hardware. Daily cut-off time for shipment is 1400 PST. The equipment that has been diagnosed as non-working, will be returned to Microtech by Robins AFB personnel within 7 working days in factory original packaging. 3.
