Description

The Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, (ARS, USDA), intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for maintenance and repair services of approximately 20 pure water systems (reverse osmosis and deionized water systems), located in Beltsville, Maryland. The base period of performance will be from April 1, 2003 through September 30, 2003, plus an additional four, 12-month option periods. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification Code is 561790 with a small business size standard of $6.0M average annual receipts for prior 3 years. The RFQ (02-3K47-03) is issued in accordance with FAR Part 12 acquisition of commercial items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation is scheduled for release approximately February 13, 2003. The solicitation will be available to interested parties at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check this site for any posted changes or amendments All responsible contractors may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award is April 1, 2003.
