- Description
- Furnish all labor, material, equipment and transportation necessary to repair and finish exterior insulation finish system and replace berthing windows at Group Port Angeles, Port Angeles, WA. The work includes but is not limited to the following: (A) Remove and store for reuse all existing exterior appurtenances: (fasteners, brackets, vents, fans, lighting, etc.) on the exterior insulation finish system (EIFS) to allow for full surface repair and refinishing; (B) Remove the existing EIFS lamina, base coat, reinforcing mesh and finish on all exterior surfaces of the Group Support Build to expose the existing insulation foam board; (C) Remove the existing aluminum frame sliding windows in each berthing room, on the second floor; (D) Install new medium bronze aluminum frame casement windows in berthing room openings. New casement windows shall meet Life Safety Code emergency egress requirements; (E) Provide for complete repair, modifications, retrofit and sealants to prepare for finish coating of the existing EIFS on the Group Support Building; (G) Install new stainless steel protective angles at corner of industrial door openings; (H) Finish coat the new, repaired EIFS after installing the reinforcing mesh. Provide complete inspection and approval by EIFS manufacturer, Group Facilities Engineer and Contracting Officers Representative; and (I) Finish paint previously painted, existing hollow metal doors, industrial doors and trims adjacent to the EIFS. The period of performance is 105 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 238390. Size Standards is $12.0. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
