Description

NA Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX, 75507-5000 has a requirement for Tread Elastomer in support of its road wheel rebuild program. Contract will be a requirements type contract for one year with an additional option year. Elastomer required is Group A, Class 1 in the following sizes and estimated quantities: 24 x 3 3/4, die size 51-51-42 Min x 96 length - 3500 pc; 12.5 x 12.5 x 2, die size 27-27-36 mion x 86 length - 1000 pc; 11 x 3.44, die size 41-41-44 Min x 78 length - 500 pc. Material shall meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-45301E, Tread Elastomer:Solid Tires for Track Laying Vehicles, unless otherwise specified. 150 pounds of the formulation in proper strip size will be required for First Article Testing (FAT) for firms who have not previously provide d this product to RRAD. FAT will consist of physical properties testing, TGA, and adhesion testing on a road wheel. Firms interested in this solicitation may download it from our website at www.redriver.army.mil.
