- NA SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES NOTICE Target Release Date: 14 Feb 03; Target Due Date: 14 Mar 03; Agency Point of Contact: Gary Tucker, Grants Officer; Classification Code: A-Research and Development; Set Aside: N/A; Title: Subcontracting Opportunities Notice for the System Development and Demonstration (SDD) phase of the Future Combat System (FCS). This notice is issued for the purpose of maximizing subcontracting opportunities under the Future Combat System (FCS) program for the System Development and Demonstration (SDD) Phase. The Boeing Company, located in Anaheim, CA is the Lead Systems Integr ator (LSI) for the FCS SDD Phase. Two separate rounds of Broad Industry Announcements (BIAs) were competitively awarded in the Concept Technology Demonstration (CTD) Phase. Boeing intends to release twenty-four (24) competitive Requests for Proposals (RFPs ) in February 2003 for the SDD Phase. The necessary information to participate in this phase is located on the Boeing website, http://www/boeing.com/fcs, and then click on the flashing icon entitled: Do You Wish to Participate as a Tier 1 Supplier? A summary of the anticipated subcontracts a nd key deliverables is available at this site. Boeing requires potential suppliers to submit a questionnaire to be reviewed before access is granted to the Advanced Collaborative Environment (ACE) for reviewing the RFPs. Time constraints are critical and response to the RFP will be required as follows: Supplier Submittal Days after Release of RFP Bid/no-bid Decision 10 days; Past Performance/Executive Summary 15 days; Tech Volume 30 days; Cost Volume 45 days. Foreign supplier/foreign national access to any RFPs released by the LSI will be subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulation (EAR) restrictions. Export of controlled technical data will require the approp riate license approval by the Department of State.
