Description

NA The work consists of providing a single mode fiber optic cable from Lock 2 to Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (MPLD) with patch panels at the Lock 2 Control House and the MPLD Construction Office. Work includes plowing, boring, trenching, drilling, and spli cing as indicated on the plans and specifications. It is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 238210 and the size standard is $12 Million. Project Duration is approximately 150 calendar da ys. Estimated magnitude of work is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about February 18, 2003. This project is unrestricted. The solicitation is available on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and provided free of charge. IT HAS B EEN DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. To request plans and specifications Contractors must register on-line via our Internet Homepage at h ttps://ebs.swl.usace.army.mil All orders will be via first class mail - your CD-ROM will be mailed the same workday that you register or on the issue date, which ever comes first. When registering on-line ensure that the Name of Firm, Point of Contact, M ailing address, Street Address for Parcel Delivery Service, Telephone and FAX Numbers (Including Area Code), E-Mail Address, and Status (General Contractor, Subcontractor, Supplier, or Plan Room) are correct. Failure to provide the above information may ca use a delay in receiving the CD-ROM and you will not receive an automatic notice of posted amendments.
