Description: The Government requires a US flag vessel to serve as a surface Support Vessel to support the USN nuclear research submarine, towing, submarine rescue utilizing existing Flyaway Submarine Rescue Chamber (FSRC) and a Highly Maneuverable Submarine Rescue Chamber (HMSRC). The vessel will also support submarine sea trail escort, diving, utilizing existing and developing portablesystems, and submarine torpedo exercise target/recovery operations
