Description
Requirement is for a Firm Fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a 5 year ordering period for Control Assembly QU, applicable to C-5 Aircraft. Initial order for contract minimum of 5 ea, will be placed at time of contract award. Contract maximum quantity is 86 ea for all ordering periods. CLIN 0001: NSN 1680-00-726-2432UC, P/N 3326000A or 4B97554-101A. SIZE/DIMENSIONS: 9.1 inches long, 7.5 inches wide, 35 inches deep, approximately 5.25 pounds. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Aluminum and electronic components. FORM/FUNCTION: Flap & Slat symmetry control detector, 115 vac, 400hz. TECH ORDER 5F20-4-2. DELIVERY: 12 Months after receipt of individual order. The solicitation issue date will be 10 Feb 2003 with a response date of 10 Mar 2003. /Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to Interstate Electronics Corp MFC 07421 & Lockheed Corp MFC 98897. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304( c )(1). Supplies or (services) required are available from only one or a number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not addressed satisfactorily by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Manager or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source selection process.
