- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation No. (RFQ) R-9071-00-3-00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 112519 and the size standard is .75 million. The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting for Macaca mulatta (rhesus monkey) with the following requirements: Thirty (30) breeding female and four (4) breeding male, animals must be 5-8 years old and be able to produce viable offspring during the first year at our facility (no reproductive culls), animals are required to be SRV/SIV/STLV negative and research na?ve and the animals must test negative for TB at the time of shipping and medical/health records for each animal must be sent to NCTR in a separate shipment. The cost should include shipping to Jefferson, AR. Delivery must be received before June 2003.
