Description

Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary to Enclose Courtyard Building 3189, at Scott AFB IL 62225-5015. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Site preparation, Limited demolition, Helical Pier foundation system, Steel roof system and metal deck, EPDM roof covering, Non-load bearing steel stud walls with brick veneer, Concrete slab on grade floor, Interior finishes, HVAC duct work, Sprinkler system, Electrical lighting and power and Relocation of an existing outdoor wood timber pavilion. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The Magnitude of this project is between $_250,000.00__and $__500,000.00 . This acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, you must provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA Certification of HUBZone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent, relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers; (d) Your available bonding for this project. All the above must be submitted in sufficient detail within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice or the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to the competitiveness demonstration program. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web Site at http://www.eps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors MUST register at www.eps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the Central Contractor registration (CCR) at web site http://www.safaq.hq.af.mil/contracting/ccr0.html. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the Bidders Mailing List (planholder's list) must submit their company name, address and telephone number to Darryl Weaver at Fax 618 256-2652, or E-mail Darryl.Weaver@scott.af.mil within 14 calendar days after the solicitation is posted on the web site. This list will uploaded to the web site. No further submissions will be accepted or posted. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
