Description

Personnel Wireless Communication Service. Provide all management, test equipment, tools, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to troubleshoot and repair Personnel Wireless Communication Service at Misawa AB, Japan. Services include but are not limited to: Preventative maintenance on fixed and mobile equipment; 24 hour on call emergency outage repairs at designated areas on Misawa AB; Repair repeaters, base stations, mobile remotes and base pagers; Repair handheld and portable units to include installations and removals; Prepare trouble tickets; Pickup and deliver handheld and portable equipment with minimal downtime and timely turnarounds; and maintain FCC compliance. The solicitation number for this acquisition is F62509-03-R-0004 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The NAICS Code is 811213 and the SIC Code is 7622. The contract will be for a basic period of approximately 7 months (1 Mar 2003-30 Sep 2003) with four one-year options. This solicitation is a competitive RFP and award will be based on commercial procedures found in FAR Part 12. The solicitation will be posted on the EPS website (www.eps.gov) on or about 3 Feb 03, with proposals due back 18 Feb 03. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
