Description

NA DCC-W is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposals for the Enterprise Wide Scheduling and Registration (EWS-R) COTS Acquisition for the Department of Defense Military Health System. Information and updates will be provided at this site: http://www.ritpo.ha.osd.mil , the TMA/TRICARE site: http://www.tricare.osd.mil/contracting/healthcare/solicitations or the contracting site: http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/index.htm . The RFP can also be accessed at http://www.dodbusopps.com/ . The RITP O website has already established a document repository, where referenced documents from the solicitation can be downloaded. RITPO will also be placing copies of the Excel Requirements documents for EWS-R and the MS Word Technical Architecture document fo r downloading. Questions regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be accepted by email to the following official site: ews@tma.osd.mil. An additional site may be posted. The cut-off date for questions to the Government is close of business 14 Februa ry 2003. Questions will be anonymized, compiled and responded to by the Government. Questions and Government Responses will be posted to the ritpo.ha.osd.mil website under EWS-R. Final questions and answers will be posted to the website one week after the cut-off date of 14 February 2003. An amendment to the RFP may be posted if necessary. The DoD will be holding an informational Industry Day for this solicitation on Thursday Morning February 6, 2003 at the Skyline Mall office complex in Falls Church Virgi nia. Attendance to the Industry Day is voluntary and attendance or non-attendance will not affect consideration of any future proposals. The Industry Day will be conducted in one of the Skyline Theater complex sites within the Mall and will start at 9:00a m and conclude by 12:30pm on the 6th. The purpose of the Industry Day is to inform the vendor community about the goals of the EWS-R Acquisition and to provide overviews of the MHS Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture clinical organization and inf rastructure. Limited question and answer opportunity will be provided during the Industry Day. All questions and responses will be recorded, transcribed and posted to the websites. Further information regarding the Industry Day will be posted to the RI TPO Website noted above.
