Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking expressions of interest from firms who are interested in proposing on an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for (but not limited to) general construction, renovations of multistory buildings or barracks, repair/replacement of all major building systems such as electrical, mechanical, civil, maintenance & repair of facilities, some exterior/landscaping, general environmental work, asbestos, and concrete/asphalt roads and pavements, in Heidelber g, Germany. The performance period will be 31 July 2003 through 30 June 2004. There will be one (1) base year, plus three (3) one year option periods for a possible total of a four (4) year IDIQ contract, if the Government chooses to exercise the option periods. The estimated magnitude of construction over the life of the contract is between $10,000,000 and $25,000.000. The plans and specifications for this solicitation will be on CD-ROM. The plans will be provided free of charge and should not be retu rned. Paper, hard copies, of the plans and specifications will not be provided. Offerors are asked to submit their expressions of interests on or before February 18, 2003. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure they have received any subsequent am endments. All responsible sources may submit a proposal and will be considered for award. A firm's physical address for Federal Express delivery, telephone number, facsimile number, email address and a English speaking point of contact should be provided to facilitate mailing of the CD-ROM solicitation to interested firms. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information provided.
