- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to their business status, including identification as to whether small, large, minority-owned, woman-owned, or 8(a) certified. NAICS code is 541512. A firm is considered small for this acquisition if its size standard does not exceed $21.0 million. Concerns having the ability to furnish Software upgrade and Maintenance for Gelco Travel Manager Version 1 from January 13, 2003 through January 1, 2004. Gelco Travel Manager Version 8.1 is our current travel system for the NAVAIR Team and is integrated with our National Business Center ERP System. Therefore this is an add-on to the existing system. Gelco Travel Manager is a proprietary product and only available through Gelco approved resellers. Interested sources shall provide written notice including a telephone number for a Point of Contact (POC), to the acquisition office listed above within 15 calendar days from date of this synopsis. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Any request for a solicitation beyond this notice will be considered non-responsive. Based on information available at this time and the proprietary nature of the software, and in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Government considers the items specified to be available solely from Gelco Information Network GSD.
