- Item 0001 Noun: FILTER BODY, FLUID NSN: 2945-01-123-7271NY P/N: 9670M54P05 Appl to: TF39 ENGINE A 3-year requirements type contract with a one-year basic period and two one-year options is anticipated. Total Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the basic and two options is 101 each. Estimated Qty: Basic year - 63 each, Option I - 20 each, Option II - 18 each. Description: 9.5? h x 5? Dia., Material: Aluminum, Filters oil removing contamination from the Scavenge oil. Manufactured by Pall Aerospace Corp., Part Number/Drawing Number: AA7865202-MS5. Sole Source: Pall Aeropower Corp. (CAGE 18350). Destination: Tinker AFB, FB2039 Required delivery date: Current active PR in support of this potential contract is for 63 each 31 Aug 2003 delivery. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 19 November 2002. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 20 Dec 2002. The anticipated award date will be 18 January 2003. Note: Faxed solicitation requests can be submitted to the buyer, Katherine Lindley, Tinker AFB, (405) 739-5504. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clauses 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms listed. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
