Description

The Defense Logistics Agency Corporate Contracting Division, has a requirement to obtain operation, maintenance, service, repair and minor construction/alteration services for buildings and structures and related systems and equipment at the Defense Logistics Agency, Andrew T. McNamara Headquarters Complex (HQC), 5 story, 806,000 square feet; the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) modular structure, 2 story, 100,000 square feet; and the Child Development Center (CDC), 1 story, 24,000 square feet; all building structures are within the HQC fence line, Fort Belvoir, VA. The current contract is due to expire on September 30, 2002. This acquisition is limited to eligible 8(a) business concerns qualifying under NAICS code 233320. The size standard for this NAICS code is $28.5M. This procurement is subject to the Service Contract Act and the Davis Bacon Act, and will include the appropriate Department of Labor wage determination. We intend to utilize a combination Firm Fixed Price,Indefinite Quantity Contract. Maintenance and repair services will include, but not limited to the following areas: maintenance and repair to hydraulic dock levelers; overhead doors; window and blind cleaning; locksmithing; welding, machine and metal work; general interior/exterior work of maintenance and repair to the HQC including but not limited to interior and exterior walls (including touch-up painting), masonry, seams, metal flashing, exterior trim and moldings, exterior caulking, millwork and roofing, doors, waterproofing, stairs, windows, front entrance glass canopy, roof repair and roof ventilators, flashing, skylights, overhangs, outdoor shelters, canopies, balconies, door locks/hardware, hinges, floor coverings, carpentry and masonry maintenance repair services on vinyl composition tiles, interlocking rubber, finished wood flooring repair and replacement and refinishing, carpet, concrete floors, ceramic tile, vinyl baseboards, seamless resinous epoxy flooring, terrazzo, steel and rubber tile. Also, maintenance and repair on traverse/curtain rods, blinds/shades, cabinets and countertops. Location is the Defense Logistics Agency, HQC, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. The period of performance is a base period from time of award and ending September 30, 2003, with four (4) one (1) year option periods with the total life of the contract not exceeding 60 months from date of award. The contractor must furnish all management, labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation necessary to perform the work. Contractor must possess all licenses required by local, state and federal government. Entrance to the facility is controlled.
