Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, No FA4416-03- T-0016 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The NAIC code is 421830 and the size standard is 100 employees. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If there is no offers received from a small business concern, this acquisition for small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition open to all responsive bidders. NOTE: This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for 100% small business consideration. This solicitation contains one line item as follows: CLIN 0001 Hydraulic Break Press. MFG: Hydro Power Technologies, Model No. DH061002A or equal (Qty 1 X _________ = Total _________). Specifications: Capacity in mild steel, 6? X 3/16?. Tonnage: 70, distance between housing: 54?, overall bending length: 72?, Bed Top width 2?, Throat Gap: 8?. Stroke length: 5?, Open height: 10? min. Shut height: 5?, speed inches per minute: Height-Low: 75/25 High Return: 60 overall width 36?, Overall height: 90?, overall length: 72?. H.P. 10 Accuracy to within .001 on overall length complete overload protection, portable foot-switch control with safety guards. Die holder. Automatic lubrication system, universal gauges. Three speed system: fast approach/slow pressing/fast return. Side frames capable of full off center load. Tonnage control and indicator, tooling required: 90 and 85 DEG, forming punches and DIES set: FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition, with an addendum. Multiple offerors and awards are hereby deleted from this solicitation. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. All offers must be limited to 1-page plus the specifications of all equal hydraulic break presses mentioned above. The solicitation will be awarded to the lowest offeror who is responsive and responsible.
