Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: The contract will be to provide fully Contractor operated and maintained helicopter flight services consisting of one light turbine helicopter (Bell 206L-1C30P, L3, L4, 407 AS350B2 or equal) in support of the Bureau of Land Management, Miles City Field Office resource and wildland fire programs. The helicopter's designated base will be at the Forest Service Fort Howes Work Center located approximately 21 miles south of Ashland, MT. The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required and furnished under the contract. As well, the Contractor will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The term of the contract is one year with options to renew for three additional years. The contract includes a mandatory 70-day exclusive use period beginning approximately June 19, 2003 through August 27, 2003.
