Description

The Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, USDA, ARS, intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for maintenance and repair services of approximately 52 generators and transfer switches located in Beltsville, Maryland. The base period of performance will be from April 1, 2003 through September 30, 2003, plus an additional four (4), 12-month option periods. This acquisition will be procured as unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 811310 with a small business size standard of $6.0M average annual receipts for prior 3 years. The RFQ (01-3K47-03) is issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is incorporating clauses and provisions through FAC 2001-11. The solicitation is scheduled for release on our about February 19, 2003. The solicitation will be available to interested parties at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check this site for any posted changes or amendments. All responsible contractors may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award is March 31, 2003.
