Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Northwest Mountain Region has a requirement for a install of a 175kW Generator at Parker Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR), Aurora, CO, including necessary appurtenances and minor facility upgrade to accommodate the new generator. The scope of this procurement includes but not limited to the following: 1. Remove and dispose of existing engine generator, bypass switch, transfer switch, batteries, battery rack, load bank, exhaust system, and associate equipment. 2. Install new GFM CLIN-140 Kohler 200 ROZJ, 175kW, 218.8kVA engine generator, automatic transfer switch (ATS/BIS), battery charger, load bank, load bank controller, exhaust system, fuel system, remote radiator, piping, raceways, cable, and associated equipment. 3. Provide all required control wiring, per manufacturer instructions. 4. Provide engine generator ground to the earth electrode system. 5. Provide all associated conduit, wiring, j-boxes, and control panels as required to complete EG room mechanical systems and fuel system.. The site in this procurement is listed below: Parker ARSR 24665 Smokey Hill Road Aurora, CO 80016-2612 This resulting contract shall be firm fixed price. Award selection shall be made based on Best Value to the FAA. This procurement is being solicited under full and open competition. The anticipated issuance date of the Request for Offers (RFO) is on or about February 10, 2003.
