- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Northwest Mountain Region has a requirement for a install of a 175kW Generator at Spokane International Airport Approach Lighting System with Flasher (Geiger Field ALSF2 r/w 21), including necessary appurtenances. This acquisition is 100% set aside for SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CONCERNS (SEDB). The SEDB firms competing for this acquisition shall be certified and be in good standing as an 8(a) contractor with the Small Business Administration. Certification documents shall be required when submitting offers. For this NAICS CODE 238210 a small business is defined as a concern, which has an annual average gross revenue of $12 million dollars or less during the last three fiscal years. The scope of this procurement includes but not limited to the following: Demolish existing engine generator van, engine generator, bypass switch, transfer switch, batteries, battery rack, load bank, exhaust system, and associated equipment; Install new generator building, GFE CLIN-141 Kohler 200ROZJ, 175kW, 200kVA engine generator, automatic transfer switch (ATS/BIS), battery charger, load bank, load bank controller, exhaust system, fuel system, piping, raceways, cable, and associated equipment; Provide all required control wiring, per manufacturer instructions; Provide engine generator grounding to the earth electrode system. The site included in this procurement is listed below: Spokane International Airport 9000 West Airport Drive Spokane, WA 99224-9246 This resulting contract shall be firm fixed price. Award selection shall be made based on Best Value to the FAA. This procurement is being solicited under full and open competition. The anticipated issuance date of the Request for Proposals (RFP) DTFA-11-03-R-00028 is on or about February 14, 2003.
