Description

NA The Defense Contracting Command - Washington, on behalf of the U.S. Army, G-2, intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to SRI Consulting Business Intelligence (SRIC-BI), 333 Ravenswood Ave., Menlo Park, CA 94025 for Explorer Membership with SRIC-BI (Proprietary) to access WebSite for Technologies Research in the areas of Biosensors, Component-Based Software Engineering, Fiber-Optic Sensors, Fuel Cells, High-Performance Computing, Knowledge-Based Systems, Knowledge-Management Tools, Nanotechnology, N eural Networks, Optoelectronice/Photonics, Pervasive Computing, Photovoltaics, Portable Batteries, Portable Intelligence, Robotics, Smart Materials, Solid-State Microsensors, Speech Interfaces, Storage Technologies, and Virtual Environments. The period of performance is for one year from the date of the order. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This not ice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within fifteen days of the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contrac t based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
