Description

The NIH Library intends to procure on a sole source basis to Oxford University Press, 2001 Evans Road, Cary, NC 27513, for subscriptions to print and/or online journal titles. Specifically, the contractor shall provide the following journal titles: Age and Ageing; Alcohol and Alcoholism; American Journal of Epidemiology; Annals of Oncology; Bioinformatics; Biometrika; Biostatistics; International Journal of Anaesthesia; Brain; British Medical Bulletin; Carcinogenesis; Cerebral Cortex; Glycobiology; Health Education Research; Human Molecular Genetics; Human Reproduction Update; Human Reproduction; International Immunology; International Journal of Epidemiology; Cancer Science; Japanese Journal of Clinical Oncology; Journal of Electron Microscopy; Journal of Heredity; Journal of Psychology; Journal of National Cancer Institute; Journal of Tropical Pediatrics; Journal of Urban Health; Mathematical Medicine and Biology; Molecular Biology and Evolution; Molecular Human Reproduction; Mutagenesis; Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation; Nucleic Acid Research; Occupational Medicine; Plant and Cell Physiology; Protein Engineering; Public Health Reports; QJM, an International Journal of Medicine; Rheumatology; The Embo Journal; Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy; Toxicological Sciences. The period of performance or subscription will be from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003. Oxford University Press provides the only legal source for Oxford University Press Titles, copyrighted works. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System code (511120) with a size standard of (500 employees). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product/service. All capability statements received within (15) days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Numbered Note 22.
