Description
NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, is seeking sources interested in, and capable of, quickly providing temporary shelters for shower, latrine, laundry, administrative, mess, dining, and sleeping facilities at Fort Riley, Kansas. It is anticipated that these facilities would serve an incremental buildup of 50 individuals to a maximum of 5,000. By responding to this announcement you will be automatically included in the plan holders list for any solicitation, when it is released. Inter ested sources should provide company and contact information as well as readily available information, including the actual supplier of the facilities, on how your firm may be able to meet the needs identified. Temporary facilities may be considered as te nts, trailers or other temporary type structures. The different uses (shower, latrine, laundry, administrative, mess, dining and sleeping) shall be individual components and stand alone structures. Shower facilities should have approximately 16 showerhea ds and 18 lavatories in each. Latrine facilities should have approximately 14 water closets, 9 urinals, and 4 sinks for males and 16 water closets and 4 lavatories for females. Laundry facilities should have approximately 40 washers and 40 dryers installe d. Sleeping facilities shall be open-bay and capable of housing a minimum of 20 individuals at one time. Mess and separate dining facility shall be open-bay and dining facility shall be capable of seating approximately 250 individuals at one time. Admi nistrative structures should have one office, one restroom, and one kitchenette with the remainder as open-bay. Larger or modular facilities may be considered. All facilities shall be provided with steps and all required electrical, lights, heating, and cooling as well as plumbing as necessary. All plumbing shall be trapped. The Contractor will be responsible for transportation to and from job site, installation and dismantling of facilities. The Contractor will be responsible for providing and making a ll utility service connections, as necessary. Government will provide utilities to the site. The Government is interested in leased facilities but may consider purchase with a buy back option. Delivery would be desired 30 to 45 days following award. Si te preparation and set up may be optional items. The contractor will be responsible for monitoring for maintenance, and for repair and replacement, of the trailers and components whenever the components exhibit deterioration or become dysfunctional beyond their intended purpose. The contractor shall be responsible for making the needed repairs/replacement within 24 hours after notification from the Army. The Army is considering individual awards as well as possibly establishing Indefinite Delivery, Indefi nite Quantity order contracts. It is possible that more than one contractor will be utilized to meet the fluctuating needs of the Army. Send your information via mail to U. S.
