Description

The Department of Treasury, on behalf of the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ? Office of Inspector General, intends to issue a simplified acquisition solicitation for a base year and one (1) option year for the services of a contractor to conduct all the required nationwide pre-employment suitability inquiries and records checks and handle the administrative aspects of scheduling with the responsible HUD contractors for fingerprints, physical examinations, and drug tests. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 561611; the size standard is 9.0 mil. This solicitation should be released on or about February 20, 2003. We will post the solicitation to FedBizOpps when it is released. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list.
