Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation for the Management and Operation of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Fitness Center (BEPFC) located at the Washington, DC facility. The Contractor shall provide the necessary personnel and services to perform the duties required to manage the operation of the BEPFC. Management and Operation of the BEPFC shall include services to provide the management and staffing of the BEPFC, instruction and personal training of BEP personnel and regiments to promote good health, nutrition and overall fitness. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be issued with a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The BEP anticipates issuing the subject solicitation on or before July 19, 2002. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.eps.gov. All interested parties must submit a written request to Ms. Kimbalynn LH Dieng, Contract Specialist, within thirty (30) days of the date of this announcement, to obtain a copy of solicitation number BEP-02-24. All parties must indicate its business size based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 7991 with a corresponding six (6) million dollars in average annual sales receipts.
