Description

This is a notice of procurement with IBI Systems, Inc., 6842 NW 20 Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, on an other than full and open competition basis for one each Rugged Portable Avionics Bus Analyzer and Simulator to support current and future Navy and Marine Corps flight test programs. This is a requirement for the Test Article Preparation Department (Code 5.4.2.2) onboard the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. A firm-fixed-price type purchase order is contemplated with IBI Systems, Inc., as the only vendor to offer a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) four-channel bus simulator. This is mandatory to capably simulate eight 1553 buses and also have provisions for four additional simulators in one portable system. The appropriate NAICS Code is 334111 (size standard 1,000 employees). To be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, the successful contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, apply through the Internet at http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government intends to issue a purchase order with IBI Systems, Inc. to meet this requirement. Responses to this notice must be made within ten (10) days after this notice is posted electronically, and include the company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, facsimile number, electronic mail (e-mail) address, and company literature or other documentation showing the capability to meet this requirement. Consideration of the responses is solely within the discretion of the Government, generally for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
