Description

The Coast Guard intends to modify contract number DTCG38-01-D-100001 to extend the option year periods. The first extended year option will begin 10/1/2003 and end 9/30/2004. The second extended year option will begin 10/1/2004 and end 9/30/2005. If all option years are exercised the contract will be extended from 9/30/2003 to 9/30/2005. This fixed price requirements contract is for the supply of 91 high-use spare parts for the Honeywell ATF-3 turbofan engine, in support of the Coast Guard's fleet of HU-25 jet aircraft. For this contract modification, the USCG intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the manufacturer, Honeywell International, Defense and Space, 1300 West Warner Road, Tempe, AZ 85285-2200, in accordance with FAR parts 6.302-1 and 13.5. All data and specifications are proprietary to the manufacturer and are not available through the Coast Guard.
