Description

RFP UPDATE - PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE/SITE VISIT INFORMATION. HQ AMC/DOYR anticipates issuing an RFP no later than 4 Mar 03 for Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services for Air Mobility Command at Kuwait International Airport, Kuwait. Services to include, but not limited to personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items and services. Contractor shall provide ground handling services, air terminal operations services, and handling of classified information. Handling of classified information will require the contractor to have a facility clearance after contract award and prior to contract performance. Performance will be from 01 October 2003 to 30 September 2004 plus four one-year options. Source Selection using median procedures in accordance with AFFARS 5315.3 will be used to evaluate offers and determine the best value. Past performance and mission capabilities will hold equal value and will be evaluated on a basis significantly more important than price. Pre-proposal site visit at Kuwait International Airport, Kuwait is scheduled for 18 March 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Participants will meet in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 09:30. Contractors are required to have a visa to go through immigration at Kuwait International Airport. Contractors shall provide the names and social security numbers of each person who will be attending the conference to Capt Jeffrey Merchant at jeffrey.merchant@ramstein.af.mil no later than COB 11 Mar 03. Space is limited so each contractor is limited to 2 attendees.
