- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: Three each Telemetry Processing Systems that can simultaneously accept, decom and process up to four TTL or RS-422 data clock streams of IRIG 106, Chapter 4. The system must have the ability to provide raw reconstruction of IRIG 106, Chapter 4 recorded data with PCM frame extensions for embedded video and audio. The system must run on a PC platform that is capable of incorporating software to recover, display, and distribute numerous streams and data formats with accurate time alignment, composite video, and voice formats; automatically archive Pulse Code Modulation data stream for raw reconstruction of recorded data with PCM frame extensions for embedded video and audio; correlate digital video with sensor data, thus providing critical real time display. The system must include removable hard-drive for data to meet security requirements. This requirement is sole sourced to Pacific Instruments, Inc., 4080 Pike Lane, Concord, CA the only vendor that meets all of the Government's critical performance levels for the telemetry processing system. The Government intends to procure Pacific Instruments Telemetry Processing System Part No. TDS 1000. The system consists of the following components, Data Decoder Library, Part Number TDS 1051, Telemetry Workstation, Part Number TDS 1010, Bit Sync, Part Number TDS 1032 and System Training, Part Number TRA-3. Any firms believing that they can provide a Telemetry Processing System that meets all of the requirements listed above, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
