Description

Needs Land or Existing Building to Lease or Purchase The United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the Pittsburgh PA Logistics and Distribution Center located within the Expanded Preferred Area of: North: 2 miles above Exit 1A RT 76 South: Intersection of RT 60 & RT 79 (Carnegie Area) East: 2 miles east RT 79 & RT 76 West: 2 miles west RT 60 This is an Expanded Preferred Area. Earlier Solicitation Offers do not need to be resubmitted. The minimum site size desired is 710 feet width by 1,065 feet length, or approximately 17.4 acres; or a suitable site with existing building of 300,000 SF capable of being expanded. Interior height of structure should be no less than 24 feet. Parking for 160 employees and 60 trailers is required. The property must be properly zoned or be capable of being rezoned for postal use. Sites/buildings outside the Expanded Preferred Area will be considered if they offer superior location or economic considerations. Offerors must own or control the site and must state the price. The United States Postal Service reserves the right to negotiate with any and all offerors.
