Description

NA Requirements type contract for meals, lodging and transportation for applicants processing through the San Diego Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period of 1 Apr 2003 through 31 Mar 2004 with four option periods. Services are fo r a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS. It is estimated that there will be 17,000 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 140 maximum, but average 66 applican ts daily. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. Solicitation will be issued on or about 13 Feburary 2003. All responsible sourc es may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox hompage website at: http://knox-www.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or about 13 February 2003. No paper copies of the solicitatio n will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
