Description

Postal Service Center Requirement: To provide postal service to Little Rock AFB, AR. Projected length of contract will be basic year (1 March-30 September) plus four additional option years renewable on 1 October each year through 30 Sep 2007. Contractor would be required to work on-site (LRAFB) in a government provided facility. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide and maintain the Postal Service Center for dormitory residents and transient personnel at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas in a manner that will ensure mail is received and dispatched in accordance with the United States Postal Service standards and other applicable instructions and directives identified in the Statement of Work, which will be included in the solicitation. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to the following: Postal Service Center Management, receiving mail, inspecting mail, distributing mail, provide general delivery service, provide mail directory service, provide customer window service and maintaining quality control. This office plans to issue a solicitation on or about 21 Jan 03. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-JAN-2003).
