NA THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND IT REPLACES DADA08-03-0002 ISSUED 04 DECEMBER 2002 AS CRUTCHES AND CANES WOOD AND ALUMINUM PRODUCTS. THIS NOTICE DADA08-03-0008 IS FOR ONLY ALUMINUM CRUTCHES AND CANES PRODUCTS. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT MR. VINC ENT PACCHIANA NURSE METHODS ANALYST 706-787-2094. EMAIL ADDRESS IS vincent.pacchiana@se.amedd.army.mil This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Regions 3 & 4 that include all DOD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee are in the process of stan dardizing Crutches and Canes as listed in the subject line above. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items are eligible to participate in the standardization process. Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must carry a full product line, must provide customer support, in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, must provide clinical support, education programs, and utilization reports, must provide company?s return policy, must provide company?s distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, and must provide electronic and hard-copy o f proposed pricing and competitive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: Crutches (Aluminum Only)- Available in a variety of sizes ranging from pediatrics to extra tall, durable, pairs are complete with tips, grips, and pads, adjustable wi th easy and speed, and grips and pads provide comfort. Canes (Aluminum Only)-Durable, easily adjustable, and come complete with handgrip and tip. Accessories (Crutches/Canes)- Replacement pads, tips, and grips will be available for crutches and tips and gr ips for canes. Respondents must address all criteria listed above. All respondents contact Mr. Vincent Pacchian prior to shipping your literature and representative product samples (enough to share with a 10 person Clinical Evaluation Team) of your company?s crutches an d canes to Mr. Vincent Pacchiana at the following address: Southeast Regional Medical Command BLDG 40707, 40th Street Ft. Gordon, GA 30905 All responses to Mr. Pacchiana must be made not later than 24 February 2003.
