Description
Contact: Gary W. Smith. Potential licensing opportunities exist with BBWI, the prime operating contractor for the Department of Energy at the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory (INEEL). BBWI is soliciting a written indication of interest from industrial partners interested in entering into a license agreement for the purpose of commercializing one or more of the subsurface and groundwater monitoring technologies listed below: 1) Direct push vadose zone monitoring system that combines tensiometery, lysimetery, and water content into a single direct push penetration 2) Borehole flux meter 3) Ambient Flux Measurement 4) Portable Tensiometer 5) Sidewall Tensiometer 6) Combination Water Content and Water Potential Sensor 7) Horizontal Advanced Tensiometer Design and Installation 8) Self-Compensating Advanced Tenisometer 9) Auto Purging System for Deep Tensiometer 10) Portable Sidewall Suction Sampler 11) Advanced Tensiometer These versatile systems offer simple designs, providing state-of-the-art data, installed using standard direct push technology (no cuttings generated), and have low construction, installation and operational costs. Reduced size, improved performance capabilities and lower cost will enhance the marketability of these products. This is not an opportunity to provide goods or services to BBWI or the Department of Energy. This solicitation will close to responses 30 days after publication. Interested parties should send a description of their company and their experience in commercializing new technologies to the following address: Gary W.
