Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 6 Service Team, hereby issues Solicitation RFQ 246-03-00032 for a Contractor to provide all performance requirements identified in the Statement of Work for approximately eighty-eight (88) air freshener dispensers for Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (652/90C), 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond VA 23249,. The Contractor will be responsible to replace old air fresheners products with new air freshener products one (1) time per month. All batteries within the units are to be replaced on a monthly basis at contractor=92s expense. Air freshener dispenser unit type, style, color, and dimensions must be approved by the Chief, Environmental Management Service and may not be changed unless pre-approved by EMS. Dispenser shall be a white or off-white color with a minimum dimension of 7=94 wide x 9=94 high. Freshener product used as a deodorizer must be able to meet with EPA Standards. Contractor will be responsible for providing the dispensers, as well as, providing the installation of new dispensers. Contractor will be responsible for removal of air freshener dispensers, if contract is not extended or is terminated for any reason. Contractor will add or remove dispensers at the request of the Contracting Officer, as necessary, to accommodate hospital renovations. Contractor=92s must submit detailed product information on the dispensers and air freshener product. Failure to provide this information will result in the rejection of the offer. =20 Contractor will be responsible all aspects of maintaining and servicing approximately 88 units. The Period of Performance for this procurement is April 1, 2003 through September 30, 2003 with five (5) one (1) year options if exercised by the Government. All technical questions pertaining to this solicitation should be in written form, mailed or faxed, no telephonic questions will be answered. Proposals due date is March 5, 2003 at 2:30 PM Eastern. This Acquistion is Set Aside: 100% Small Business.
