Description

NA The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center (USARMAC), Aberdeen, MD, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects for homeland security. The mission and requirement areas include Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear C ountermeasures (CB), Emergency Preparedness and Response, Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection, and Border and Transportation Security. USARMAC is the procuring office for this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Combating Terrorism Tech nology Support Office (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security. The BAA package itself will be available only from the following website, www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solic itation of concepts from those offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, and HBCU/MI's, f oreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three phases fully described in the BAA package available from the web site. The package describes the full pro cess for the concept submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas. Potential offerors are encouraged to download the BAA package from the web site at a minimum of fifteen days from the published date of this synopsis. Registration in BIDS is required for offerors to submit their responses directly in BIDS. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your account is functional and to confirm your access to the site.
