Description
NA The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center (USARMAC), Aberdeen, MD, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects for combating terrorism. The mission areas include Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Countermeasures (CB) and Investigative Support and Forensics. USARMAC is the procuring office for this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG). The BAA package itself will be a vailable only from the following website, www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those offerors capable of satisfying the government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institut ions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, and HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three phases fu lly described in the BAA package available from the web site. The package describes the full process for the concept submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas. Potential offerors are encouraged to download the BAA p ackage from the web site at a minimum of fifteen days from the published date of this synopsis. The Response Data is estimated. Registration in BIDS is required for offerors to submit their responses directly in BIDS. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your account is functional and to confirm your access to the site.
