Description

NA SOURCES SOUGHT/NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT WITH ONE SOURCE. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, Contracting Division, 1325 J Street, Sacramento, CA intends to issue a sole source contract to King-Fisher Company to provide narrow band conv ersion of King-Fisher radio transmitters in the 138-150.8 Mhz and 162-174 Mhz. VHF band only. King-Fisher Company will provide and install the conversion module to existing RF units, provide bench testing of the module after installation of module. It is determined that the conversion must be done by a King-Fisher factory technician to maintain the integrity of the manufacturer?s warranty. The existing Base alarm receiver network is configured for King-Fisher transceivers and they are the only factory aut horized service available. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: K042, SIC Code 7622, NAICS Code 811213. The size standard for this code is $6,000,000.00. All interested parties may respond or submit statements of qualifications. This is not a request for competitive prop osals or quotations. The Government will consider responses received within 10 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is within the discretion of the Government. All r esponses are due in not later than 28 Mar 03/1300 (1:00 pm) PST. TYPE OF AWARD: This RFP is SOLE SOURCE.
