Description

Robins Air Force Base Georgia has a requirement to repair the existing hanger doors for Building 81. The offeror shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies, and coordination necessary to replace/retrofit the hanger doors in-accordance with drawings and specifications. The work includes removing the existing girt walls, door pockets, installing new hanger doors, resupporting the existing top guide/overhang; extending the existing top guides/bottom rails into the pylons; reinforce the existing dock pylons; adding door leaf sections; extending festoon cables, and relocating limit switches. The work is to be accomplished in two phases. Phase I requires completion of East side doors in FY 03 with one option period to complete Phase II for the west side doors. The estimated project magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This is an unrestricted procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $28,500,000. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 Feb 03 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
