Description: NA The Huntington District intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price construction contract with Kokosing Construction Company, 17531 Waterford Road, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019, IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 ? (1). An approved justification an d approval is on file in Contracting Division. The work will consist of the modification of the Scioto Main Sanitary Sewer Lining and 120-Inch Sluice Gate, West Columbus Local Protection Project, Columbus, Ohio that affects the expected service life and o perability of the 120 Inch sanitary pipe. The work will involve lining of the 120 Inch sanitary pipe from Renick Run Pump Station of Frank Road, which is occupied by Kokosing and the lining of the 120 Inch pipe from Frank Road to Jackson Pipe Headworks. This will include installing a sluice gate and construction of approximately 10 manholes on the existing pipe for construction access. The major goal of the contract is to meet customer expectations and extend the life of the newly constructed sanitary pi pe and address customer?s concerns about the quality and installation of the existing pipe. The contract will be 100% local sponsor funds for the portion between Frank Road and Renick Run. The NAICS code 237110 has been established for this procurement.
